By Royal Appointment is a funny, poignant and celebratory new play starring British TV royalty Anne Reid(Dinnerladies, Last Tango in Halifax) as Queen Elizabeth II, and Caroline Quentin (Dickensian, Men Behaving Badly, Jack Absolute Flies Again) as her dresser.

They are joined by stage and screen stars James Dreyfus (Mount Pleasant, Gimme Gimme Gimme) as The Milliner, and James Wilby (Maurice, Poldark) as The Designer.
